Special education is education, and education is integral to self-reliance. Psychosocial care has seen the beneficiaries gain a very improved and advanced special education that has helped them address their challenges, worries and discomforts that denied them peace of mind.  The program addresses the challenges from personal level to a group level and the understanding is, “that all members grow together and value addition in a lifestyle is celebrated by the whole family of RSA”.

Managing stress accompanied with a dire psychosocial discrepancy, the care that RSA gives in this program has seen the beneficiaries develop very positive attitudes and at least 87% of the beneficiaries have improved their mental health through interactions and discussions encompassed with life experiences. 10% of the population have now showed some levels of adaptation and resilience through their improved lifestyles.
“All the men smile and say, the one lady in their midst has braved to see them happy. They say no one visited their used to be deserted homes of loneliness and widowhood until RSA brought this lady to knock their doors and give them a smile”, their faces brightened and hope built.
